They just don't like the health, education and welfare elements designed to directly help people.

Join the Military they offer health care education benefits and whatever falls under the umbrella of "welfare elements". Problem solved; everybody's happy.

I'm down with that, if we raise taxes to pay for it.

Way to show your analytical skills.

Now just explain who is going to pay for a US military with 50 million members.

And please explain why they will be "happy" to do it.

Thanks!

Redirect unemployment and welfare benefits. Country has the world's strongest Military and nobody is getting anything for "free".
Admittedly, I'm a light the candle type guy; not a curse the darkness type.

Unemployment and welfare benefits will not come close to covering the cost of outfitting and training required to turn every poor person without a job into a soldier.

BTW are you going to take children into the military?

So, by my math it's 3-2 which would make him a Democrat posing as a Republican starting stuff to blame Democrats to make Republicans look bad when caught.

He's either a whack job or a genius...you decide.

He's a libertarian.

I don't actually know this... he isn't me Ninja since the last time I was unemployed was over a decade ago, but those beliefs could be held by a libertarian.

I was going to say Libertarian but I put the other stuff to piss people off.

What did Gary Johnson say about half of the people in his party?
He said in an interview with Samantha Bee, "They're batshit crazy", lol.

Now you know why Gary Johnson wasn't elected, lol.

It wasn't "half", but he's not wrong.

I know it's taboo to ask, but was curious also as to what 'sunset' got banned for? Though we may disagree politically, always thought he was a solid guy. Sorry to see him go.
