Which will happen 1st..Willis showing up or Reds World Series?
#1
lets see hmmmm.
Its a valid question.
Willis has done nothing 6 games in.
he looked great vs the Dallas backups.
I dont think hes even got a hand on the qb this year.
my eyes tell me hes lacking that quick burst even against slower OTs and hes not strong enough to
get a bull rush off and walk his man into the pocket.
as far as setting edge...nadda.
its time for these 2nd yr kids to start making plays

He's been fine.

Another premature post, as usual.

my eyes tell me

Your eyes fail you.

4 QB hits
6 tackles
fumble recovery
tipped pass
a tackle for loss

Here is the real question.  Does impactplaya win "Drama Queen of the Year" before the Reds win a World Series?

They are using Willis more on 1st and 2nd downs and he is being instructed to focus on defending the run first with getting to the passer being secondary. Run gap responsibilities etc.

I don't think he gets many 3rd down, get to the passer chances the way say Carl Lawson does.

I have heard they are considering letting him play without the lead shoes and weighted pads he has been wearing.

I think that sounds like a good idea since he appears to be moving like a granny in slo-mo out there.

No for real though. Wtf happened between looking like a world beater in the preseason and the slowest dude on the field in the regular season?

you know
you just never know.
if Stanley Wilson can be coked up before the 1988 Super Bowl...why not?
but...the last time I checked he was drafted for his ability to get after the QB....non stop motor
qb hits mean little to me if the chains are moving.
qb hit is another term for HE ALMOST SACKED THE QB.
1 TFL doesnt impress me through 6 games.
teams are dropping to pass at a blistering rate.
yet your trying to sell me on the fact he 4 hits.
blah.
let me give you a,little reminder.
young 2nd year players that are getting quality snap counts are expected to produce and produce often.
hes barely making game changing plays.
the Bengals have got gashed heavily on the ground in their losses.
wheres 75 at??
QBs are completing a high rate of throws vs the Bengals.
dont tell me hes doing fine.
