White terrorist kills muslims with car
#1
Can't believe the hatred these disgusting religions spew. Wonder if there was merely a tornado this guy was diverting with power of Christ and horsepower.

Apologize for the poor story quote. I'm on my phone at a meeting with a bunch of atheists to help homeless people find jobs. As opposed to killing people like some smut rags encourage others to do.

"Several pedestrians have been injured after being hit by a van in a "major incident" near a mosque in London.

Witnesses said the vehicle veered off the road into worshippers leaving prayers in Finsbury Park shortly after midnight.

“From the window, I started hearing a lot of yelling and screeching, a lot of chaos outside," a woman who lives opposite the scene told the BBC.

"Everybody was shouting: 'A van'€™s hit people, a van€'s hit people'.

“There was this white van stopped outside Finsbury Park mosque that seemed to have hit people who were coming out after prayers had finished.”

Footage showed injured people motionless on the pavement as angry crowds surrounded a white man believed to be the driver.

A witness told Buzzfeed News up to 10 people were injured, before passers-by managed to restrain the driver after he left the van.

The man said a crowd had previously stopped to help an elderly man who collapsed on the pavement and was undergoing CPR when the vehicle approached.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said officers were called to a "major incident" at 12.20am.

"Officers are on the scene with other emergency services," he added. "There are a number of casualties being worked on at the scene. There has been one person arrested. Enquiries continue."

Police did not confirm claims Muslims were targeted after leaving a mosque following Tarawih prayers performed for the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

Harun Khan, Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain, said: “Shocked and outraged to hear a van has intentionally run over worshippers leaving Ramadan night prayers.”

As unconfirmed reports swirled, former EDL leader Tommy Robinson, real name Stephen Lennon, was condemned for "attempting to justify" the attack by accusing the mosque of past links with extremists.

“I genuinely hope the innocent people targeted tonight outside the mosque are ok,” he later wrote on Twitter.

It was unclear whether worshippers had been leaving the Finsbury Park Mosque or nearby Muslim Welfare House, which said the incident happened "five minutes from us".

Mohammed Shafiq, chief executive of the Ramadhan Foundation Muslim organisation, said the incident came as members of both mosques left prayers.

“It happened outside the Muslim Welfare House but people were leaving Finsbury Park Mosque as well so there’s a lot of confusion at the moment,” he told The Independent."

It's a shame that all of this violence is going down in Europe (and across the world really). People need to realize that taking out their anger on innocent people won't fix anything. I don't think it was a terrorist attack, but a hate crime (being a little nit picky here, and both are equally as bad). Plus, why point out he's white? Does that really matter? I don't see too many (if any) headlines of "Brown/black/ect. terrorist kills xxx". Bringing up race is unnecessary, and is putting fuel on the fire on things like this IMO. Now if it was a Christian who killed Muslims because of his beliefs that would be different, because it has relevance on what happened.

Couldn't agree more brownie (it was implied). You're doing a hell of a job.

Hopefully this terrible act by the whites on the browns evens the score and we all go back to schooling our children in science and technology.

Don't hold your breath. You're smarter than that.

Did he yell "Jesus is my bro!" before he ran them over? Otherwise you're just assuming he's Christian, you racist Christianaphobe.

There was a teen Muslim girl murdered outside of her mosque here in Virginia, recently. They haven't confirmed whether it was anti-Muslim in nature or not, but the community is certainly on edge in that area of Virginia.

He obviously wanted to make a point against Muslims, but then stoops down and uses an Islamic terrorist tactic as the means to. Doesnt make sense, but regardless he should punished to the fullest extent.

Hmmm. That's strange. I can't find the part where this attack was based on religious belief.

I think he meant the religious belief of the attacker, not the victims.

Who was yelling "I want to kill all Muslims"--the attacker or the Muslim victims?

As I said, I think he was referring to the attacker's religious beliefs because the OP made a snarky quip of him being Christian without any info to back it up.

Obviously the victims were Muslims and it was an attack directed specifically at them. But the attacker could be a neo-nazi atheist for all we know.

Yes pretty much what I am getting at.

The OP seems to know not only this man's religious affiliation but also seems to know what doctrine it is he's following to "kill all muslims".

Obviously not defending the murder of folks, and I hope this guy gets the strongest punishment possible (which in London I think is life?) I do have a question on this whole matter, though...

Why would people even go to that mosque? Even if it changed it's imam and such, it has produced no less than three notorious terrorists. It had an imam who is currently serving life in prison for terrorist charges, the guy who was caught trying to smuggle a shoe bomb on a plane was from there (forever cursing us to having to take off our F'ing shoes now), and a guy who was part of the 9/11 plan was from there. It had been previously raided and shut down for like two years in the past for being a hotbed of terrorists and extremism.

It is like if the Westboro Baptist Church got a new priest and a new name, but kept the same congregation. Who the hell would want to go there? Couldn't pay me enough to do so.

Not being flippant, but are there neo-nazi atheists?

So now atheists aren't good enough to be Nazis?

What about being an atheist would stop people from being a national socialist? Atheist just means they don't believe there's a God. It has nothing to do with a political view.

Just never heard of one.  Or never heard of one put that way.

A quick search said most of the ones who do identify that way are the fringe of the fringe.
