Who's Troy Apke & Ade Aruna
#1
I knew absolutely nothing about these kids before the combine. I was wondering if some of the Penn State/ Tulane fans in the nation could enlighten me on possible draft gems. They both had great weekends.
I have some highlights but couldn't find much tape. My resources didnt have much. I found a few highlights so I'll just post those. Also Ade Aruna from Tulane... Combine warriors.. Sorting season

Did not see combine but Apke looks really good on those highlights.

Most do on highlights but he showed speed, solid tackling, really good footwork, and plays hard nosed football.

Not much to dislike.

I believe Apke busted out a 4.35 in the 40, and was also around 40 in the vertical.

Apke was originally projected a 7th rounder or UDFA before the Combine. He was a 1-year starter next to Marcus Allen and didn't have great production. He doesn't excel in coverage but does have speed. He doesn't have size but has shown to be a solid run defender in college. Expectations are he will start on ST and be a depth safety while he works on his weaknesses and bulks up to increase his durability.

Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins

The big question on APKE is why did he only play this year on defense?

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Would take him as a ST player with potential to be more in later rounds without thinking twice.
