Why did Biden prioritize China over Israel?
#1
Joe Biden had a chance today to speak at the biggest Israel rally in decades. He could have easily arranged to speak at noon to kick it off, then travel to California to meet with the communist China leader.

It gives Americans the impression (right or wrong, but perception is reality) he stands with China over Israel.

His decision comes as many in his cabinet are demanding a cease fire, he could have stood with Israel being clear he is not straddling the fence.

Attending the APEC conference of which he is the Chair and host means he is doing ALL of his job.  Israel and the Middle East is not the only concern in the world. Unlike his predecessor, President Biden understands the importance and ability to multi-task.  The President does not have the luxury to only be concerned with one problem at a time. The meeting with President Xi is just one of many events he is scheduled to attend and host in San Francisco.  This conference has been on his schedule for months.

The President has spoken out against anti-Semitism dozens of times.  He has voiced support for Israel repeatedly.  If you don't believe it by now, one more speech won't make a difference.

Speaking face-to-face with the leader of one of the world's leading economies, the leader of a country who is trying to make its own militaristic threats is important.

Why as antisemitism is running rapid, hate crimes against Jews up over 300%, Biden chooses to target on Islamophobia? It appears counter to his words, as they say actions speak louder than words.

He could have made a video as they had huge screens up. I just wonder why he sat on the sidelines. More bad optics for JB.

The man can not place a wreath and go back in line without a soldier's instruction. Is that Biden multi tasking? If so, God help us all when he sells us out to China.

The Biden administration did roll out an Islamaphobia initiative just as they did months before concerning anti-Semitism. Both are problems in the United States and both need to be dealt with. Speeches won't sway those who believe one way or the other.

What I do know is that if Biden had recorded a speech you and Fox would have complained he wasn't there in person, if he appeared in person you all would have complained that he dissed President Xi who came to the US to meet with him.
