Why the Dominion Suit Matters (Smartmatic too!)

Fox News has admitted to lying.  They've been caught, and this is where people are going to double-down and go all-in on them.  That's a key aspect of any con or problematic relationship.  You see who they are and you accept it, and then you're in for good.  Nigerian scammers do this all the time where they intentionally slip up or have scam pitches that are obviously untrue and ridiculous because they really want the type of mark who accepts their story and what they say rather than believing their own eyes or the pleas of their loved ones.

Only when you can present someone with an off-ramp and they refuse to take it it have you truly gotten a hold of someone.

tl;dr - Fox is only settling because they're innocent
Fox and their anchors DID admit to lying in a legal sense.  In sworn depositions Hannity, Tucker, Murdoch’s et al admitted under other they promoted Trump’s election lies to retain viewership. That’s why Dominion won Summary Jugement before trial. Fox will not have to go on air and admit to their viewer they lied.  This to me is something that is lost b/c many of Fox’s viewers have no idea this lawsuit even took place much less all Fox’s late night anchors admitted under oath they lied to them.

Smartmatic has promised to expose the lies of Fox even further than Dominion has done.  In defense of Dominion, it’d be a tough decision to leave almost $800-Million on the table and let a jury decide your damages.
