Sounds like they have a multi year deal on the table.

Winker, Ervin, Senzel and VanMeter are all on alert for a trade any day now.

Trade two of the four for bullpen help and this team contends for a title.

Shogo will hopefully translate to mlb just fine. He hits LH and has some gap power, has some speed and a good OBP. From what I understand, he played in every game for the last 5 years straight so there shouldn’t be any health issues. It’s great that the Reds are bringing in some new, potentially good pieces.

No, if it doesn't push Senzel to Cleveland then Senzel will be CF and Shogo will be LF but also some CF on Senzel's off days.

There's some talk, however limited the Reds may move Moostakas to 1st if Votto doesn't perform and put Senzel at 2nd.. I'm not entirely opposed to this either..

I'm now thinking more along the lines of Winker/Ervin/VanMeter being trade bait than Senzel.

Lindor is probably not coming to Cincinnati. Judging by the reaction of the rumors of the multiple trade offers for Lindor, the Reds offer fell around 4th or 5th as far as interest from the Indians fans. I'm guessing Cleveland was mentioning Senzel more than the Reds were offering him.

I’d say there’s about a 5% chance of this happening. He’s still owed 100 million. They’ll start him for at least the next 2 years.

That sounds like more something for 2021 or 2022.
