You Tube-Sunday Ticket pricing released
#1
They've got early bird specials right now

$249 with YouTube TV
$289 YouTube TV, Sunday Ticket and Red Zone

$349 standalone
$389 Sunday Ticket and Red Zone

A base YouTube TV subscription is currently $72.99 so it remains less expensive to subscribe to YouTube TV and add the Sunday ticket (or the bundle) than it is to subscribe to the stand-alone options.

On YouTube TV, members will have access to features like the brand new multiview as well as unlimited DVR storage, personalized recommendations, the ability to view key plays, NFL Fantasy data, real time stats and hide spoilers.

At some unknown date these prices will increase by $100.

Still no word if you will be able to subscribe to a single team or a single game. If it happens I wouldn't expect to see it announced until much closer to the start of the season

Lol smart move forcing YouTube TV into the deal. The numbers with YouTube TV are close to what Sunday Ticket was standalone with Direct TV.

Perhaps there is some legalese I'm unaware of, but I will never understand why they don't sell packages for individual teams. I believe there are lots of people who would Fork over $50 or so to watch games involving only their favorite team or teams. Perhaps they could also offer a package for two teams at a reduced rate per team.

ever see the south park episode about the cable company?

Why sell things individually when you can bundle it with things they dont want and make them pay it lol

I paid for Sunday Ticket one year. Decided that it should have been the Bengals paying me to watch.

With their resurgence over the past two years I've found that even here in New England they are on the national broadcast often enough where I wouldn't be inclined to pay that much. When they're not on it's easy enough to find.....alternative....viewing methods.

For those that may have forgotten, NFL Sunday Ticket is moving to Youtube TV now. It will no longer be a DirecTV thing.
Youtube TV announced it will be offering $100 off the upcoming season of NFL Sunday Ticket if you purchase it by June 6.
https://www.tomsguide.com/us/get-sunday-ticket-without-directv,review-3811.html

You can purchase NFL Sunday Ticket as an a la carte service via YouTube Primetime Channels (no TV sub required) for $449 for the season ($349 by June 6).
Alternatively, you get $100 off NFL Sunday Ticket if you are a Youtube TV subscriber, bringing the cost down to $349 for the season ($249 by June 6).
NFL Red Zone is an extra $40 for the season, and can be bundled with NFL Sunday Ticket.

Mods - Feel free to move this to Around the NFL section, but I know not everyone frequents that area (such as myself), so I wanted to make sure this was visible to Bengals fans interested in the service.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins

I thought going to a different provider would at least give us an ala carte option, like 1 team only or game by game option. Looks like a 1 time payment option also. For 25 years I've had Sunday Ticket & have always paid in 6 equal payments. Makes me want to give it up. Joe makes it worth it thankfully.

Last year with DirecTV, it was $550 for Sunday Ticket. And you had to have DirecTV subscription on top of that.
This is a cheaper option.

Not when you had the student package, was like 120 total for the season.

So yea at 400-500 a season I'm out.

For me it seemed like most Bengals games were blacked out on Sunday ticket last year, so you are only actually getting half the Bengals games.

That doesn't make sense, unless you were in an area that picked up the game on local TV...or you mean because they have more games outside of the Sunday 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM times?

Does anyone know how to get the big ad off the home screen on YouTube TV where it normally has some of the shows going on right then that you can choose from? It's annoying the hell out of me.

I thought about getting it but then I realized the Bengals will always be on, especially since I'm local, and then I likely won't be home for the majority of Sundays anyways because I'll be at Wings & Rings or BWs or some other local place with friends.

If nothing else, I'll go to the Sportsbook at Hard Rock right by the stadium downtown.

I'm happy for all of you that are outside the local market, but then how many games won't be national televised since we'll have a top team in the league?

I'd assume 10+ games won't be nationally televised, and I tend to spend $40+ each time my wife and I go to the local bar & grill to watch the game, so this is going to save me $$ regardless.

I paid for Sunday Ticket one year back in the 2010s (17 or 18 I think) because I forgot to cancel it after getting it for free the first year with DirecTV. I felt like the Bengals should have been paying me to watch.

Now with the Bengals being good, even here in New England they are the national broadcast frequently enough where I couldn't justify spending hundreds of dollars to watch (legally) a few extra games. And the links in the Gameday thread on this board are routinely enough to fill in the gaps in national coverage.

Now it’s being reported that the NFL didn’t give Apple TV the contract because they wanted to make it cheaper for consumers. There might be some interesting stuff coming out in this court case.
Looks like Goodell’s “fans come first” BS may be exposed.
