sadly the story doesnt say, but still, its a good thing he only had a loaded 9MM instead of a cell phone, officers would have opened fire on him on the spot

And really are we acting like people with cell phones are routinely shot? In the millions of interactions how many times has it happened?

Now I do know a cincy cop who went the opposite way. Guy was waving his gun around, and the officer tried to get him with a taser. Then the waver shot and killed the cop.

well the guy with the phone was just another in the long line of unarmed blacks killed by cops

and the guy in this story was wearing body armor with a loaded gun and was white and not killed

i mean parkland shooter was apprehended by police alive
dylan roof was apprehended alive by police after he shot up a church

And you don't think armed black people are apprehended by the police without being shot?  Do you think unarmed white men are never shot?
