And on top of my reply… I love the win but it makes it so much sweeter earlier in the game watching mr ***** pat homes flexing and laughing earlier in the game when he thought he was dominating and the game was over in the 2nd qtr

Lol at blaming the refs. The Defensive coordinator decided to run a zero blitz on a 3rd and 27 instead of playing coverage. Blame him if anybody!

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Yeah I was a little surprised. Confident is one thing, but they acted like they’ve been on top for twenty years and to suggest the Bengals might not lose by thirty was blasphemy.

Oh and 27 pages of ref whining last time I looked.

If I'm being real about it, I have to admit that the Chiefs fans around us at the game to day were all just about the most well-mannered bunch we've had come into PBS this year.

That said, I don't really have sympathy for teams dealing with the impact of the officiating. There were several plays where the Bengals got hosed as well, IMO. That PI that Hilton took on the big pass to Kelce on the second drive was laughable. There was also a return where our returner was drilled out of bounds with no flag. The holding that KC's OL was getting away with was downright egregious on several plays.

Both teams got hosed. They just got hosed at a way worse point in the game. Who cares?

A friend just texted me that he saw somewhere that Mahomes’s girlfriend is saying the refs cheated so the Bengals would win. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So the Chiefs got hosed when Snead literally grabbed Boyd's helmet strap? It would have been really bad if that had NOT been called, and that was the call that gave them the fresh set of downs at the 1/2 yard line. Or how about the refs saying Mixon was short when he was CLEARLY in on the offsetting fouls play?

Their fans both in that forum and online in places like YouTube were arrogant and rude snots. Well, they got what they richly deserved.

Just watched the highlight package on YouTube and crying and teeth-gnashing were epic.  It's a fanbase crying out to be taken down a couple of pegs, and I'm glad we could oblige them.  Just obnoxious A F.

If they were the Jets, they wouldn't get away with it.

Guess they didn't watch the film of Burrow constantly burning zero blitzes all season long.

This site was heading that way early. I was trying to pull guys back from the edge in the GD thread. Refs were to blame for everything going wrong and the league hated the Bengals and were against us. Refs just sucked. Some for us, some for them. Play good enough and you don’t have to worry about it. Bengals did, Chiefs didn’t.

And Mahomes girlfriend can’t keep her *censor* shut either.

If you go back and watch the hands to the face play, Boyd literally reaches up and has to adjust his helmet mid route.  Sucks because of the situation, but it was a legit call.

I think a few things played into it.  KC's offense struggled in the 2nd half, scoring only 3 points.  They would also be in an obvious pass on every down situation with both T's out.  If they can force an incompletion due to pressure or get a sack, it also takes us out of going for it on 4th down.  If it works, nobody questions it.

no they really got hosed when a holding call brought back the kickoff return for the touchdown.  Afterall the hold had nothing to do with the returner scoring.

Actually, the funniest take was from the Cleveland board where someone decided they (NFL) hosed the Chiefs in order to hand the division to Cincinnati just to hose the Browns
