RE: Does Trump inspire hate from his followers? - Nebuchadnezzar - 09-10-2019 Small minds talk about people Average minds talk about events Great minds talk about ideas Trump is a small minded to average minded person and what's crazy is that he will most likely be re-elected to another four years because people are doing ok right now and voters don't realize Trump is a small minded person. I will most likely be one of those voting for him too in 2020 unless I write in the Constitutionalist again because I don't like any of the Democrat candidates and the one who gets the nomination will be a far left loon like Sanders. I guess it's just not possible that he thinks that trump is better for our country's long term well being then some of the Dem candidates. He talks about bad ideas such as open borders, free medical care for all, having me pay for someone else's student loans and free college. Welfare state plus open borders means national collapse. To be fair, I like some of his ideas as well, but I think a Bernie presidency would be an unmitigated disaster. Do you mind paying for public schools? RE: Does Trump inspire hate from his followers? - Sociopathicsteelerfan - 09-11-2019 (09-11-2019, 06:59 PM)Dill Wrote: Do you mind paying for public schools? No. Although I don't have any kids I recognize the national value of paying for a K-12 education. I don't think that should be extended to college. You want low interest student loans, I'm fine with that. You want to curb rising tuition, I'm fine with that. You want me to pay for your college degree, hell to the no. Those newspapers aren't going to deliver themselves. RE: Does Trump inspire hate from his followers? - BakertheBeast - 09-12-2019 Taxpayers are already paying the salaries of millions of government employee's. Some important like military, others not so important like those government employee's who spend half the day posting on message boards. Whats a another trillion to get educated kids. Government employees pay taxes too, or did you not know that? You have any examples of the type of person you're referring to? RE: Does Trump inspire hate from his followers? - GMDino - 09-12-2019 The correct answer was "yes". No, People already hate or don't hate before Trump came along. All that's happening is people are trying to use his words to justify their hate with him or to him. It was same with Obama, but he wasn't quite the polarizing figure that Trump is, but the Right didn't hate Obama back then as bad as the left hates Trump now. So, to the OP his followers didn't spew hate at one of his targets based on his naming them?
