We use them for surveillance and safeguard. We don't use them to get shot down

If it was in Iranian air space the US will be viewed as the aggressor, and if the shit hits the fan we will have trouble getting allies or a coalition to help resolve the conflict.

Why should Iran honor a deal hat we won't honor?
As long as we are at conflict with them I understand why they don't want to give up their national security.

Not "pulling for Iran" but against the US going to war.
There's a difference.
Especially when there was a plan in place by a coalition to watch Iran and DJT thought he was smarter than everyone else and not only pulled out of it but replaced it with nothing.

A huge advantage to them is if they are shutdown no human life is lost from the shooting of the drone; however, human life could be lost because the drone was unable to do its job. I know this first hand. Back then I didn't think "send a bill" was sufficient.

No there will not.
Many people will be critical of the decision to go to war, but that does not mean they will root for Iran to defeat our troops.

But that was a war that was already started... and it wasn't started over drones.

Is this somehow worse then Trump supporters STILL siding with Putin (gleefully mocking) Russia's attack on us?
Maybe war with Iran will make them Patriotic again.
As of now, only one group of people (large group unfortunately) has turned on America for a foreign enemy.
