And stop attacking other posters. I said hot seat not immediately fire. They are two different things. And yes a DC whose defense has huge issues tackling and doing routine backside contain should be on the hot seat - these aren't exotic things they are basics of football. Hot Seat means the DC is told by the higher up these things have to change.
Also opponent prep time does not give you a pass on tackling or contain. Again this is basic defense 101.
