I think they would find themselves much more center just like the rest of the population.
Then you'd have those who found themselves as conservative or liberal as well, but overall vote would be much much more evenly split.

On Social issues blacks lean conservative by a wide margin. The problem is that blacks just don't vote to really ever matter in an election. Even with a black president Romney only needed 4% more white voters to show up and vote to win. The complacency of the black community to vote is a large reason why they don't go issue by issue.

A higher percentage of blacks voted in 2012 than white people.

So if "complacency" is a problem then it is with the lazy white people.

Google "Acorn corrupt" and only one hit from the liberal mainstream media.

Just in case anybody doubts if Hillary Deserves the black vote, this should put those doubts to rest:

Quote:Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton was asked during an interview on the New York City radio show “The Breakfast Club” what item she always carried with her.

Her response was “hot sauce.”

I suppose I could have started a shinny new thread about the same thing over and over (you know the type) and the link is only racist because nobody had any hot sauce on them

Shocked

Seriously Larry?

The guest equated "hot sauce" with racism?

Quite the stretch.

But then it was on "Fox and Friends" I'm sure it there was some well thought out reasoning.

No he didn't; he suggested that a 68 year old rich white woman that states she always carries around a bottle of hot sauce is pandering to black voters in an insulting manner. he said she should have just went all out and says she always carries around a watermelon.

So, I rephrase:

Seriously?  "hot sauce" is pandering and just slightly less racist that saying watermelon?

The white folks probably ate that line up when they heard it on FOX!   Hilarious

This has got to be one of the dumber things Clinton has ever been accused of.  Not pandering...but that "hot sauce" is almost as bad as saying watermelon which is one of those "weighted" words we talked about in another thread.

Words can not convey enough how stupid a statement that is, how inane the thought process is and what a waste of everyone's time it was to have it on air and to then to have to see it on a thread over two months old.

Solid post.

Why do you keep bringing up the word racist? No one but you has used that word. Obviously the folks that conducted the interview also saw that saying carrying around a bottle of hot sauce could be seen as pandering to black folk, to which Clinton replied: "Is it working?"

But we should blame the white folks from Fox.

The fact that it concerns you that someone finds an older post concerning a subject and adds to it instead of starting a new thread on the same subject is perplexing.

Right...saying she should have said she was carrying around a watermelon in a discussion about pandering to blacks isn't racist at all.   Mellow

Should have started a new post about how low FOX is already going to try to hard to make Clinton look bad.   ThumbsUp

I mean GEEZE! They disagree with her on virtually everything and THIS is how they spin that? Sad. And stupid. But also sad.

It is crazy to suggest she should have just used the word "watermelon" instead of "hot sauce".

(The Latinos would have felt left out if she said "watermelon")
