I'm sure it is for some people. I don't like it for either reason.

Makes sense, since the Under God portion wasn't even added until the Red Scare.

As a christian I have no problem with removing the Pledge from schools

As a Veteran I'd have no problem with removing the National Anthem from professional sporting events
