RE: 2023 In-Season Roster Thread - Isaac Curtis: The Real #85 - 11-01-2023

Well, this should make people happy, Tanner Hudson has been signed to the active roster from the Practice Squad! The newly vacated PS spot has been filled by old friend, LB Clay Johnston.

https://www.bengals.com/news/bengals-roster-moves-tanner-hudson-active-roster-clay-johnston-practice-squad

No word on activating Jones, who probably looks to be out another week. Which will give the staff a week to decide who gets cut when he is activated. My money would be on LB Devin Harper (no dead cap) or TE Wilcox or DT/NT Tufele. Any would likely land on the PS if they clear waivers, necessitating a release there.

RE: 2023 In-Season Roster Thread - 007BengalsFan - 11-03-2023

With Reader and Tupou being free agents after the season I would hope to see Domenique Davis elevated a couple of times this year to see what we have with him at DT.

There are some pretty good NT types who could go 2nd or 3rd round in the draft: Tyleik Williams (Ohio State), T'Vondre Sweat (Texas), McKinley Jackson (A&M), Dontay Corleone (Cincy). There are others, more DT types (I love Newton from Illinois but he is likely gone), but I would not be surprised to see us take ay Day 2 DT, even if Reader is re-signed.

from a pure marketing perspective you just cant go wrong with a DT named "Corleone"  The GODfather of the D line

RE: 2023 In-Season Roster Thread - Isaac Curtis: The Real #85 - 11-08-2023

Jones is cleared to practice. Now into the 21 day window where he has to come off IR. Not back yet, but getting close..

https://bengalswire.usatoday.com/2023/11/08/bengals-clear-rookie-charlie-jones-practice-return/

Brown has only missed 2 games on IR, so he cannot come back this week.

IF we're getting a new DT, this is the one I want:
