History Professor who correctly predicted every US Presidential election since 1984 says impeachment of Trump imminent.

Even before Election Day, Lichtman predicted that, if elected, Trump would be impeached. - from the article linked in my last post. Impressive prognostication?

I think you might need to get a hobby, take some pills, maybe drink some bourbon. Something, please, we're starting to worry about you.

Xxlt's taking the chronic masturbation route, right now.
Which.....hey..... If I were gifted like that, I'd probably never leave it alone, either.

Except he didn't. He got 2000 wrong and claimed that his system still works because Gore won the popular vote, which then causes issues with his prediction this year. Either he guesses the winner or he just guesses the popular vote winner. Either way, he is 8 of 9.

1 in 512 people should correctly predict the winners of 9 head to head match ups. Being right 8 of 9 times, as he was, makes it to 1 in every 256 people. Not as special. He also admits this impeachment claim isn't based on his system, which has been wrong, just on his gut.

So basically this is all garbage.

He went from the guy is always right in predicting the popular vote to the article is total garbage. You are right. That is a take down worthy of Royce Gracie himself!

Oh, and he showed evidence he had read the article. Sick burn! Total takedown!

He could have really sealed the deal by quoting where I said this article was gospel, but alas he slipped up there.

Still, my ego has taken a licking the likes of which I can only fantasize about for my johnson. Thanks for rubbing it in.

If Trump serves this entire term I think the odds of you having a mental breakdown are excellent. Smirk

When he doesn't, I hope you have the suicide prevention hotline on speed dial.

Heh, in your black and white world I suppose there's only room for being pro-Trump or anti-Trump.

Well, no, I pointed out that he is not always right in predicting the popular vote as he claimed Trump would win it.

So basically the headline is  "guy with an algorithm that is usually right has a gut feeling about a similar topic". It gets the clicks but it don't mean much.

Absolutely not. He is far from a polarizing figure. Many people have formed no opinion of the man or merely shrug when confronted with his zany conduct, much like they shrug at the conduct of a sitcom or reality show star.

You, on the other hand, seem to conflate the observation that his bizarre, reckless, and in some cases seemingly illegal conduct equates with a deep seated hatred of the man and not merely an ability to observe reality and point accounts of it others have provided.

I'll therefore leave it to you to identify the colours of your own world, but you've misrepresented mine. I can't say I am surprised. We all have bad habits. Jumping to conclusions may be one of yours. Anyway, speaking of colours, here's a little Alan Menken
number for you. It won't change anything, I just like Alan Menken so I'm going to share some of his magic here:

It may not mean much to you. Lichtman (aka as algorithm toting douche with a gut feeling) teaches at one of the most politically active colleges in the country, American University in D.C. And, his book about his gut feeling is being published. That doesn't mean he is right, and it may not mean much to you. But, it is just possible that a man with a PhD in history who has been researching and writing about American politics for decades has a slightly more informed opinion than the person cheering Gracie like "take downs" of my posts on this MB. But is also possible Asimov was wrong and ignorance is just as good as intelligence.

I didn't say he wasn't a smart guy, I just said he hasn't correctly predicted every race since '84, despite what you and the link said.

Listing his impressive accolades doesn't change this fact nor does it make his algorithm anymore relevant to his self proclaimed "gut feeling" that Trump will be impeached.

I'll simply point out that there is a difference between disagreement, opposition and obsessive chicken little syndrome.  Did you try the bourbon yet?  I think it might really help you.
