Vigil is not bad out there. The big issue was that the other LBs were Burflict who was a shadow of his usual self in the few times he played and after that Nickerson and company were some of the worst LB I have ever seen. Brown being injured didn't help. So on a lot of these plays what was happening was two of the three LB (almost always including Nickerson) would react wrong and take themselves out of the play leaving Vigil all by himself at the LB level.
I'd keep Vigil and Brown and junk the rest.
