I've always tried to live by if consenting adults want to do it, and they aren't hurting anyone else, I don't see a reason to stop them.
Of course there are gray areas but in general if we just let people be and stop staring into their bedrooms we'd have a lot less of these type of discussions.

What I am saying AGAIN is that you are talking about "men changing into women" and acting like that is the same as experiencing gender dysphoria.
Either you are completely ignorant about the issue or you are intentionally misrepresenting the transgender issue in an attempt to make them look stupid.

Because gender dysphoria is in the mind. It is a psychological/mental disfunction. If you are born a boy or a girl, that is what you are physically.
A fully transitioned girl to boy will still get crushed in male sports and a fully transitioned boy to girl will still crush it in female sports. You are what you are born as.

I don't see that as the whole explanation, but that certainly is true. And I'd agree that the question is what to do about it.
As to why, this is just one of those disadvantages one faces when being born black. Chances are you grow up poor and with way less opportunities, for there's hardly a ladder out of that when your family is poor, and to a large extent this is the result of decade-long discrimination that takes generations to overcome, if ever.

I think his point, and forgive me if I'm not getting this right, is that while it was once acceptable to be racist towards blacks it is no acceptable to be racist towards whites. I certainly wouldn't compare what's going on now to the historical treatment of black people in this country and I would hope no one else would be insane enough to do so.

I have not the energy nor the patience to address all of the ignorant, prejudiced, bigoted, anti-science tomfoolery expressed in this thread by certain individuals. The dearth of critical thinking skills from those claiming to have the facts and "common sense" on these issues as well as the highly evident lack of any understanding of the topic is asinine. I don't know of any nice way to put it.

It is not "acceptable" to be discriminate against whites. And whites are not being discriminated against. There are studies that show that minorities are being discriminated against by law enforcement, employers, and landlords. There is no evidence any of this is happening against whites.
And even many of th claims that it is acceptable to be racists against whites is not true. For example you posted a claim that the NYT said it was okay to be racists against whites when the very story said that they condemned the language used against whites and the person who di it apologized. This is mainly just another lie being circulated in the right wing echo chamber.
