Bengals would do a draft like this: - SHRacerX - 04-18-2017

It isn't what I would want, but with Barnett and Ross off the board at 9! The Bengals take an offer from Miami to trade way back and I tried to use their logic, history, and sense of who they are as a team to make these selections.

I could completely see the draft ending up like this, but I doubt the Bengals would call their own baby ugly (Ced) by taking Robinson. He's a steal where they got him, though, much like Whit. And if Ced wins the job at LT (and monkeys might fly out of my butt) then he becomes an All-Pro RG.

Here is how it went:

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 22 (MIA): Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama (C+)
Round 2 Pick 9: Jordan Willis, DE, Kansas State (B-)
Round 2 Pick 22 (MIA): Amara Darboh, WR, Michigan (B-)
Round 3 Pick 9: Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma ©
Round 3 Pick 33 (MIA): Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Alabama (A+)
Round 4 Pick 9: Adam Bisnowaty, OT/OG, Pittsburgh (A-)
Round 4 Pick 31 (COMP): Jon Toth, C, Kentucky (B-)
Round 5 Pick 9: Brandon Wilson, CB, Houston (C-)
Round 5 Pick 32 (COMP): Zane Gonzalez, K, Arizona State (B)
Round 6 Pick 9: Elijah Lee, OLB, Kansas State (B-)
Round 6 Pick 33 (COMP): Robert Davis, WR, Georgia State (B)
Round 7 Pick 9: Billy Brown, TE, Shepherd (C+)
Round 7 Pick 33 (COMP): D.J. Jones, DT, Ole Miss (B-)

Darboh is a nice pick, very underrated WR. I am not sure Robinson helps us this year (as oyu mention they aren't giving up on Ced that quick) so it is a bit of a punt on this season with getting value out of our rookie like normal. I like Perine, but prefer Foreman, either fits the mold of HB I'd like us to get. Willis is a great value in the 2nd and Bisnowaty could start in the league in a year.

I'm starting to really like Perine.

He really would be a great piece in a HB by committee stable.

5 linemen out of the first 7 picks? I've died and gone to Heaven, haven't I?

This is Heaven, isn't it?

"It's Iowa"

Actually, it could be Iowa...all they seem to turn out are linemen.

Haha.  But, yes, they need to get quality depth and competition in the trenches.
