I listened to his music all the way to my gig tonight. So many great songs. Too many to list,tbh. Melissa, Whippin Post, One Way Out, are all iconic imho.....sux!
I performed Midnight Rider tonight & brought the house down. What are some of y'all's favorites written or performed by him?

Rambling Man and Midnight Rider are my favorites.
2017 is starting to become 2016 all over again. Taking a lot of good singers I grew up on.

Rough weekend, to be sure. At least his legacy lives on in the form of GREAT music.
My faves with him singing lead would be
You Don't Love Me, Come n Go Blues, Midnight Rider (version from his '73 solo album), Dreams, Trouble No More.....hell, where do I stop?
