Fanspeak End of 1st Quarter Mock - c12schleyer - 10-06-2017

So, in my opinion, after watching the first half of the season we have a few needs. And, with a simulated mock draft I think I addressed most, if not all of our needs. What do you think?

Oh, and no... I don't want a QB. I am willing to argue it, but I don't want one.

Couple things. Holmes will not make it out of the second round. We're not gonna carry 6 tea on our team, Adams over mcglichey and jones or Hyatt would be a better pick in the second

I like the first pick.
I like the third pick.
I'm fine with Billy Price too but curious to know whether you are expecting him to slot at C or RG. If RG, who plays C? It better not be Bodine.
I haven't focused much on the rest of the prospects in your mock, so I can't comment on them.

RE: Fanspeak End of 1st Quarter Mock - Hammerstripes - 10-12-2017

I really worry about drafting a tackle high these days. It seems like it's the most bust worthy position now.

That being said, I'd have to see who was on the board at #6. I always go with my rule of thumb - if you are in the top 10, you take the best player, period. You don't reach at that point.

I would also need to come out of this draft with a top OG and a top C. If we really got those two spots, I'd be happy.

Price can play center or rg. If Hopkins improved we may not need a rg. He's a better center and the best in the class. I would trade the farm to draft both mcglichey and adams
