My spineless weasel Representative, who said he would serve no more than one or two terms way back when is not seeking reelection this year after fulfilling 13 terms in the House of Representatives. https://goodlatte.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=1038
This, on the back of the elections this week, will be interesting. Incumbents are always extremely difficult to beat, and the 6th district is GOP territory, but even with it being an uphill battle for the Democrats we are talking Mole Hill now instead of Everest.

I'm kind of surprised the rats are leaving the sinking ship already.
I guess it's better than risking losing?
