The steeler fan base will take a hit. Gonna be a spike in Jacksonville Jaguar fans in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. If people in that fan base got a nickel for every time they switched teams they’d be rich!

How exactly does this work? When a fanbase bases their entire self worth on what Professional football team they cheer for, and that team looooooossseessss, then do they switch teams or realize they too are losers?

The funny thing is that first round playoff losses actually GROW the Bengal bandwagon. This would be considered a successful year for Marvin, who btw, is your coach for the next two years.

The Steelers literally had a more impressive and deeper playoff run this year than anything the Bengals have done in close to 30 years.

Not even close.  If Bengal fans based their self worth on the Bengals, the city would have been wiped off the map decades ago.

I didn't do either in the 80s, when the Bengals went to more Super Bowls, the Browns went to more AFC Championships, and both teams won more division championships than us. I also didn't do either when my Pirates, who i watched win a World Series when I was 10, promptly became the worst team in baseball over several decades.

Stereotypes are fun, but they don't fit my experience.
