San Fran mayorial candidate wants to alter sanctuary law - Millhouse - 05-15-2018 However she is facing backlash from the mayor, district attorney, city attorney and other leaders. As of now, the current sanctuary laws protect convicted illegal immigrant felons from the feds. The candidate, Angela Alioto, wants to revert it back to how it used to be in that only convicted felons would not be protected under it, but not suspects. The moderates are considered traitors and the extremists fight it out to see who can be the most extreme. Here in Tennessee we had State Legislators calling for the impeachment of our REPUBLICAN Governor because he appointed a Muslim to head a State Department.
