I managed 47 out of 50 which I think is pretty darn good. I followed baseball a lot more back in those days.. Kind of fun ,but towards the end its more a process of elimination.. So it's clickbait more or less. There are worse things you can do than play the clickbait game .

Wasn't the 1980's the era of the Cobra? Dave Parker was a favorite of mine.

I did not use any hints and I got 46 of 50.
However there were several I would never have recognized with out the multiple choice options.
They did not even show Willie McGees face but I was able to guess that one by the red jacket and the outfielder on his HOF plaque.

47/50 finally my lifetime fandom of baseball pays off. Plus 30 year fantasy baseball player.
Knew 40 easy and they made it easy to use process of elimination on others.
Especially using names that were already correct answers earlier in quiz. Or being the only player from that team listed.
Helped that watched Vince Coleman and Mcgee played AAA ball in Louisville for Redbirds before winning WS at St Louis before the Reds took it over.
So glad Reds AAA team is here playing here now in one of the nicest, most fan friendly stadiums I have ever attended in Louisville Slugger Field.

49 out of 50. Missed Shawon Dunston. That's how much of a baseball fan I used to be. Haven't followed it at all since '91.

If I hadn't spent the lions share of the 80s in a drunken stupor I might have gotten 55 out of 50.. lol
