Week 13 brings yet again, another lame attempt on my part to write something up in regards to today's contest. With my sub-par writing and grammar skills in question, I say who gives a damn this if football, right? So, as my warped mind limps up to the table and sends signals to my fingers to type (SOMETIMES THIS CAN BE A VERY SCARY THING), I give you the following:
Currently, there are 7 of 9 slots filled for today's competition. With some interesting match-ups of teams this week, I have been left somewhat joyous that the Bengals play Monday night instead of today. This keeps my fandom from getting in the way of my decisions when picking the players for today. Last week, I played tug-of-war in my mind on starting Andy Dalton against the browns. However, the browns suck so who wouldn't?
Anyway, I'm feeling this week the big money RB's is not where the value is at the position. Same goes for wide recievers. There is a ton of great values to be had at both and with the exception of Todd Guirley, most wont meet their value IMO. Some interesting defensive matchups are very enticing as well with good value to be had on several teams I ordinarily wouldn't even consider. Decisions, decisions - come on PAYDAY! Now, although I never bring up player names so to not give away clues as to what I'm thinking (ignore Todd Guirley reference above), I will say the greatest value, and my recommendation to all, would be grab Eli Manning while you can. LOL... No don't, that was a joke, he's been benched.

I gave up gambling back when I was a kid. I was in Las Vegas and had about 12¢ in my pocket at the time. I dropped a nickel in a slot machine and won $40 worth of nickels which at the time was illegal because I was underage, but they let me keep it and let me pour all $38.50 back in the slots.. $40 in nickels at the time felt like all the money in the world..I kept a buck and a half for a hamburger and fries then left town with less than 12¢.. That was back in the days when I thought hitch hiking across the country for no other reason for the heck of it was a good idea..
I'm not opposed to gambling by other people, but I don't partake..

I had a CCW class today so i filled my lineup out at like 6:30 this morning. Glad the Bengals didn't play today because i kind of wonder how much my mind would have been wandering to the game. As it was, i didn't think about NFL football at all today until i got home and checked my FFL and scores.

5 of 9 positions filled so far this week. Need another 4 by first game.
So, I sat here doing a lot of research yet again this week in an effort to not look as ridiculous as I did last week. Each week, I think most if not all of us have that line-up which gives us that perfect feeling like it's the best out there for the money. Only one of us wins and usually if that line-up was in a big money contest, would have been beaten worse than an evangelist in Yemen. I finally finished my dream roster for week 14 and ended up with $2500 left to spend. Wait, what? How can that be? Can I let that roster slide without changing it? My heart says, "trust your first instinct." My mind says, "Don't be stupid, you got $2500 left out there and will be kicking yourself at the end of the day." Therefore, I will probably spend the next hour or so trying to find the best way to spend that cash (enter Mike Brown comment here).
Ok, so as I was typing this, I had to go in and fix the roster. Will I regret it? Yeah, probably so. So, around 7pm, as I see myself in last place or close to it yet again, I will be extremely frustrated as those players I changed score 30pts ea. UGH!
