When Scoring 25+ Points - Nebuchadnezzar - 10-07-2018

The Bengals are now 45-2-1 when scoring 25 or more points in a game during the Dalton Era?

I think that's the record or is it during the Lewis Era?

I wish I didn't have brain damage.

Dalton Era. Lewis has 200+ games coaching the team.

And really that is a testament to how good the defense has been under Lewis in the Dalton era.

Actually, it's 45-1-2

Sorta...but I wouldn't take credit from the offense.

Of these 47 games:

We allowed 20+ points 22 times
We scored 30+ 33 times (meaning we should've won even if the defense was just "meh"
We had an average score of 32.3 to 18.3 - So it's not like the offense was scraping by winning 25 to 17

Among those 47 games, we had some scores like these:

34-27
38-31
34-30
27-24
27-24
42-28
37-37
27-24
33-23
37-28
28-24
27-24
31-34 (the only loss, @ Cardinals)
27-27
31-27
34-23
34-23
37-36

Does the defense get credit for all these wins? Or should we acknowledge that while the defense has mostly been very good, the offense also helped keep this statistic looking pretty?
