As if Democrats would all be ok if Obama publicly called his porn star lover "horseface" and ordered an immediate pull out of Syria without even consulting his National Security Advisor and Secretary of Defense to go over options and consequences first.  Or if Hillary Clinton proudly claimed she would own a government shutdown or accept the Putin's word over the CIA regarding election interference.

So Democrats are outraged over every "little" thing Trump does, almost daily, to prove he is unfit for office, and it's only because they "hate" him.

What is the "POSITIVE" that outweighs this incompetence and degradation of national culture? Two supreme court justices likely to rule against challenges to gerrymandering and to citizens united?  Tax cuts for the rich, used to buy up their own stocks?

What "colors" people's perception of Trump are misogynistic and racist statements, actions which show contempt for the rule of law, and foreign policy decisions which both sides can agree are ill informed and precipitous.

If this were a fact check site, BFritz's post would earn four red herrings.

Edit to add: for what it's worth, partisan biases that lead people to see the other side as irrational in their concerns also close off people to any sort of dialogue about issues. It is one of the largest contributing factors to the decline in civil discourse regarding policy and the increased level of ignorance among the citizenry.

And don't say "the economy". When Trump claimed in his presidential bid that the US economy is in turmoil, all economic arrows were already pointing up. Conservatives, however, gave me to understand that saying turmoil (and shattered, and that the american dream is dead and whatnot) is still justified because of one thing only, the national debt. Which has gotten considerably worse under Trump.
