"Least enjoyable job I've ever had": John Kelly sounds off on time with Trump - GMDino - 03-07-2019 https://www.cbsnews.com/news/john-kelly-former-trump-chief-of-staff-least-enjoyable-job-ive-ever-had-john-kelly-sounds-off-on-time-trump-administration/ Quote:John Kelly, President Trump's former chief-of-staff, appeared to part ways with several of the administration's immigration policies, including Mr. Trump's promise that a "big, beautiful" wall must be built along the southern border, in a wide-ranging discussion at Duke University on Wednesday. I wonder if DJT has a nickname ready for Kelly? RE: "Least enjoyable job I've ever had": John Kelly sounds off on time with Trump - jj22 - 03-07-2019 Too little to late for these Republicans who let all this go down just to speak out against it when they are no longer in the Administration. A true hero would never let America get used and played by the POTUS to begin with. They watch him sell our Allies out, profess his love for our enemies, make money off of the WH, attack America's Intel and our citizens, and so much disgraceful stuff, and do nothing. No love for these people who watched and know Trump has done horrific things (including working with Russia to attack America) yet won't speak on it or do anything until they are either not running for reelection or out of the Administration. Then they admit they knew all that was going on and expect people to applaud them. RE: "Least enjoyable job I've ever had": John Kelly sounds off on time with Trump - bfine32 - 03-07-2019 Seems like a fairly open-minded interview that is not the smear piece the title seems to make it out to be. Just look at what he said immediately after the "out of context" (that's important around here, right?) title: Quote:the president of the United States make the very best decisions that he could based on the information that we could provided him." Taking a small snippet is partisan reporting. He blames the Dems for changing their tune on physical borders, He disagreed with 2.000 miles of wall. Is anyone asking for that? He did state the overwhelming are not criminals and I think we can agree with that; as he did not say all. All in all I pretty straight forward interview, that is cheapened by the partisan title. If the would have just called it Kelly sounds off about time as CoS, it would have been unbiased, but that doesn't sell. Quote:for eighteen months he "helped the administration, the president of the United States make the very best decisions that he could based on the information that we could provided him." He said Democrats were for exactly what the support today: strategic placement of barriers. Funding was provided for that. DJT wanted it all. In an article full of disagreements the two words "he could" certainly tarnish those decisions. Oh and DJT said sea to shining sea so I imagine he wanted it. And the title of the article is a direct quote, not sure how that is "biased" any more than saying he sounded off. It summed the general tenor of what he said and it was a direct quote. When I skip over all the facts and just read the quotes, all I get from this is that Kelly hates Trump. The whole article looks like a liberal hit job then. That works with other articles I read about Trump too. |
