Bengals Welcome Trayveon Williams - kevin - 04-27-2019

They got a RB . NFL Network likes this pick as one of the steals in the Draft. They say QB Finley was also a steal. In fact they like all Bengal picks. Taylor likes to use the TE's and RB screens and they say Mixon & Williams can do that and Taylor is getting good players he needed.

OT, TE, LB, QB, DT, C-G, RB

Really surprised Trayveon lasted this long, great pick.

Way better than Walton in pretty much every way.

Williams is a good get. He’s the anti-Mark Walton. I guess the RB group is cemented now.

RE: Bengals Welcome Trayveon Williams - psychdoctor - 04-27-2019

I know he hits the hole quick but can he take it to the house type?

RE: Bengals Welcome Trayveon Williams - lone bengal - 04-27-2019

Good chance he can make the team as the 3rd RB now that Walton is gone. Not a bad pick , has a chance to make the roster and play which I’ll take for a 6th rounder. I feel like running back is one of the positions where late round and undrafted guys can make an impact. Philip Lindsey from Denver went undrafted last season. Chris Carson from Seattle was a 7th round picks guys come out of nowhere all the time at this position.

This is why I don't pay attention to the Draft until Draft day.

The Bengals had two straight seasons with one of the worst lines in the NFL
OT - first lineman taken
TE - upgraded the run and pass blocking
LB - perfect spot for him
QB - matches Dalton's skill set
DT - will push the back end of the roster even if he doesn't make it
C-G - brings a bit of nasty streak to the O-line
RB - several on here were calling for him in round 4

I don't care who was available, I don't care if they could have gotten so and so at a later spot. They got players they liked at positions they needed. I love this Draft.

They've gone from drafting Tyler's to drafting Trayveon's.
Good pick.

I don't pay that much attention to predraft noise either. Mocks have become less than useless anymore and extraordinarily inaccurate.

So I guess all the guys who were squealing in the Samples thread about us taking a guy 2 rounds early will be pouring in here to congratulate the Bengals for getting a guy 2 rounds later than the experts projected.

Any minute now. . .

So far I have been happy with the draft.

My wife's friends asked her the same thing when we were dating. But with a little coaching up I became an All Pro. I expect Trayvon can do the same.

This was an EXCELLENT pick.

The draft people on TV were saying that they expected him to go in the third round, so it's a hell of a pick!

He could come in on occasion and offer us big play potential or a dangerous scat back type player!

He does his best work in the open field, so I'm excited about what Taylor can do with him!

RE: Bengals Welcome Trayveon Williams - Rattler - 04-27-2019

So is TW injured?

Why would he tumble all the way to the end of the draft?

RE: Bengals Welcome Trayveon Williams - Nicomo Cosca - 04-27-2019

1760 yds and 18 td last year why this kid drop so much?

Players drop sometimes.

Maybe it's because he's from such a small school that teams don't trust him.

He also didn't do much to make himself stand out, but he definitely has the potential.

It's a nice pick!

ThumbsUp
