Not bad, 36/40. 90%

10. A since not "all" property is seized. This one is from a county question bank, the wording can be argued.
13. Since she has a house and kids, she'd use a 1040 instead of the simpler 1040ez. Usually use the 1040ez if you make under 100k, have no property, and don't have kids.
14. Audit is what the IRS does
26. both would be the cost since he gave those up

I invoke my right to complain and critique politics/government/this country while being completely unaware of how anything works. Freedom...suck it.

RE: Take the American Govt Final - SunsetBengal - 06-24-2019

As a 50 y/o that learned much of that through life experience, I will say that I'm glad that curriculum is now including useful life information. My generation learned a lot of that sort of information from our Fathers, but times were a bit simpler then. If I had to guess, myself and most of my classmates back in 1987 would have struggled to get much better than 75-80% on that exam, had it been presented to us then. I looked it over, and got a perfect score, but you can chalk that up to life experience.
Although there were 2 or 3 questions that I had to re-read the answers on, before making my final selection, due to tricky wording.

I had A for #14. It looks like you pasted my answer for 16 over 14?

And your opportunity cost isn't everything else you could have done. Opportunity cost is the cost of giving up the next best option. So since he had $50 and everything cost $50, only choice #2 is his opportunity cost.

Number 6 I got wrong because I read the question wrong. lol

I must have messed up #14 when I was trying to add to your quote.

You're also right about #26 since the question specifically ranks his choices. I also need to start using more examples in class that have more than 2 choices, because I realize I usually just give 2 or 3 examples that have an A or B choice.

38/40 with 1 brain fart answer. My other wrong answer I went against my first choice, but you win some you lose some.
