The Who Return to Cincinnati - samhain - 12-08-2019
On Thursday, April 23rd, The Who will return to Cincinnati for the first time since the infamous stampede concert at the Coliseum in December 1979. They will play at BB&T Arena at NKU, a 10,000 seat venue. That's a tiny venue for a band that's in the conversation for greatest rock band in history.
I'd love to be there to see it, but the cheapest tickets are going for 350-400 bucks.
Anyone else thinking of going?
Coincidentally, it takes place on the first day of the draft, so I'll be off work. Don't know if I can pony up that kind of coin, but it seems like it would be a really cool place to see them.

I had friends who went to that concert in '79.
They had no idea anything had happened until they got home and found their parents freaking out.

cant afford this concert.... But the one that happen in 79 is why there is assigned seating now.
