Watching "Room" on Netflix. Wow! How did this movie and child actor Jacob Tremblay not merit Oscars?

Never heard of either the movie or actor. I am curious though, did the Hoe ever answer if they merited Oscars?

The movie was nominated for Best Picture in 2016, but lost to "Spotlight". Big mistake, IMO.
As for the Hoe, I slapped her around a bit and got that e changed to a w! :andy:
