Again it's all about rhythm.

And the entire offense doesn't have any.

Right !

Dalton has played like crap in the first two games - no doubt.

But this offense has had a very long list of problems that don't include Dalton that have added immensely to the train wreck it's been. Very poor execution across the board, bad blocking, no chemistry at all.

Zampese was a huge part of the problem ! Let's hope Lazor can right the ship.

Well fwiw, the Ravens got 4 more INT's today. Sure the Browns. Sure rookie QB. Still...they're looking like a bad ass defense this year.

They made some really good FA signings in their secondary. Brandon Carr and Tony Jefferson were the biggest signings, and both are making an early impact. Trevin Wade was also a decent signing. Jeremy Maclin and Larry Donnell were signed on the offensive side...and this is a team that was better than us last year.

We can blame the OC, oline, wrs, running game, all i know is Dalton throws a shitty ball, is his accuracy sucks, n he might be one of the worst quarterbacks standing inside the pocket. If the first option is covered he panics n scrambles n throws the ball to the nearest sideline.

Well I understand English; so that is most likely why I interpreted it as a defend Andy's play post.

Dalton has physical limitations that insists the talent and gameplan must be on point
Hes peaked reach his ceiling
McCarron has ceiling to reach

lol. He lead a team that Dalton was in the MVP running for and proceeded to post a rating that was 9 points lower, throwing for barely 200 yards a game and 6 touchdowns in 4 games, getting sacked more the 2x as much per game.

It's safe to say he can reach his ceiling sitting down.

I'd kill for 6 TDs in 4 games right about now...

That's just blatantly not true. Andy throws at low 60% completion for his career, so you can't say his accuracy sucks. When he has TIME to get through his progressions, he's a good quarterback.

I'd rather watch Andy throw it out of bounds on 2nd and 10, than watch AJ McCarron try and throw it as hard as he can into triple coverage and watch it go the other way.

I don't feel this at all

While I do feel his time here is done, I feel it's more of an emotional thing than how good of a QB he is. Iv seen Dalton bring us back in plenty 4th quarters. His issue is mental right now and his coaches are not fit to coach football.

He's been BAD but he doesn't deserve all the blame he's getting

Boy......ol Rodgers had one helluva game without Jordy Nelson, and having the equivalent of our two all world Tackles playing in front of him. He really elevated the Packers. Ninja

Sshhhhhhhusshhhhhhhh

You can't say things that the "it's all Daltons fault" guys don't have a come back for.  :andy:

Well, then you clearly don't understand English.

Here's a hint: "only Dalton's fault"; though said sarcastically, the overall point of the post is a clear implication that Dalton has SOME fault but there are also other factors at play.

And also got us closer to a postseason win than Dalton ever has.

Short fields for McCarron: 3 drives started in Pittsburgh territory, with both TD's starting there

Offensive drives for McCarron: 15
Offensive Drives for Dalton: 11.0 on average, never more than 12.

Look at all the facts. McCarron got more help in his 1 start than Dalton got in all 4 games combined. The defense got stops and turnovers, allowing McCarron more opportunities (15 drives) and short fields (3 drives that started in opp territory). Dalton never got anything close to that. In truth, McCarron was just as terrible as Dalton ever was, but if you keep giving a guy opportunities and short fields while keeping the score down, it gives our QB a chance to stay in the game.

It's a team game, and our defense finally came to play in 2015, but people are so QB obsessed that they insist on giving the credit to the guy that benefited from all those stops and turnovers.

The team is not winning changes need to be made.

RE: ***Official Andy Dalton Sucks Thread*** - firstand10 - 09-18-2017

All
of the pregame show Sunday b4 the Texans game, the announcers kept talking about Dennard Watson, and how they thought is was good that the Texans, were hoping to reunite the team with him at QB. But, on the other hand they also said that when talking to Carlos Dunlap that he was just itching to get to Watson! What happened there ? The Texans were beat up with injuries no doubt. But, they seemed to handle our Def.Line .

I have no problem giving McCarron credit for almost winning against Pittsburgh, but, then you have to give Dalton credit for almost winning the 2nd PO game against the Texans. IIRC, Dalton barely overthrew Green for the game tying (game winning with a successful XPA) TD at the end of that game.

Change has already been made. If Dalton continues to struggle, then you make a change there.

Honestly though, until Marv and Paul A are out, it's probably just rearranging chairs on the Titanic.

We also ran the ball well against Pitt.
