Pick your Favorite Mock (Round 2 through 7) - CJD - 04-24-2020

There's some debate about whether we go OT with Jones, LB with Baun, WR with Higgins or Mims or go with the unexpected BPA Epenesa.

I threw together some mock drafts for each scenario. Wanted to know what you guys think results in the best overall team!

Mock Draft A - Linebacker first

Mock Draft B - EDGE first

Mock Draft C - Wide Receiver first (Sub Mims for Pittman if you prefer him)

Mock Draft D - Offensive Tackle first

Give me your thoughts!

D but man A with Baun and Shenault would be hard to turn down.

I don't love any of them, but I like D the most.

A.

Baun Shenault Peart Clark and Jackson. That's a nice draft.

What would make you happy then?

OT first, LB second.

In D, I really like 33 and 107.

I'm ok with Higgins at 65, but he's not a guy I'm really high on.  What other receivers were available then?

I don't know a lot about the other prospects in your draft.

And call me crazy, and maybe the Bengals won't do it, but I really want Tyler Bass in 6 or 7.

I think Shenault was there. But past that I think the next highest wasn't worth a 3rd round pick. Maybe Gabriel Davis.

Why don't you like Higgins?

His athletic testing wasn't very good.  He had a good season, but against largely mediocre opponents.  OSU and LSU controlled him pretty well.

Like I said, I wouldn't hate him at 65 (I would at 33), but I just like other prospects more.

D would be a superb haul but I can't see them all being there that late.

D gets players I like at positions I would be targeting so that’s a good option.
