I just figured since it was a story where the Feds didn't want to get their nose in to local business too much it would make some folks around here happy. Just like any job, the boss wants info from every lower division so that he can address an issue BEFORE it becomes a big problem. This is not a case of the feds wanting to run every law enforcement agency, but since the federal government is ultimately responsible for protecting the rights of citizens it is entitled to this information in order to do its job. |
