Senate parliamentarian to allow additional budget legislation - GMDino - 04-05-2021 Infrastructure week is an actual thing under this administration. Weird. https://www.yahoo.com/news/big-win-democrats-senate-parliamentarian-230350152.html Quote:Big win for Democrats: Senate parliamentarian to allow additional budget legislation to bypass potential GOP filibuster[url=https://www.businessinsider.com/senate-parliamentarian-to-allow-2-more-bills-to-bypass-filibuster-2021-4] RE: Senate parliamentarian to allow additional budget legislation - Au165 - 04-06-2021 The issue is yet again going to be Manchin. He has already said a corporate tax increase to 28% is too large, which is laughable. He is pushing to meet at 25% and I am not sure some of the more hard-line members are going to settle on that. Given his family history that's not a surprise that he'd slide that way. Hopefully there can be some kind of compromise since the gop won't ever agree to anything at all. Screw that, at this point, they should give Murkowski a sweetheart deal for her constituents to join them and knock Manchin down a notch. His head is getting a little too big and he needs to get checked a bit or this will be the next two years. RE: Senate parliamentarian to allow additional budget legislation - GMDino - 04-09-2021 Biden proposes a huge plan to spur actual infrastructure repairs and upgrade, the gop says they won't support it. No surprise. But I also found this tweet interesting because DJT got/gets so much support from his fan base because of all he "did" and let's be honest, "Infrastructure Week" was as big a joke under the Trump admin as his healthcare plan than he never, ever, ever actually proposed. And I don't remember her ever making an appearance talking about a plan or, well, anything. Most of the videos I found were cabinet meetings and CPAC.
