Pittsburgh Pirates - 6andcounting - 01-15-2022

Won one measely playoff game after decades of failure in 2013. Was kinda cool; led to nowhere.

I remember. I thought they had turned the corner. The stadium was rocking that last month if I recall. But baseball is a different animal. Cities like Pitt and Cinci can’t compete over time. The money disparity is just too great.

I was at that game. The echo of the Cueto chant had this haunting aura to it and the stadium vibrated with the sound of the chant. None of the video recordings come close to doing it justice.
