Oh the humanity.. - SunsetBengal - 08-05-2022

When is the POTUS finally going to do something about these damn border crossers? This boomerang illegal alien not only came back after being deported, he killed and dismembered this poor child's family, before kidnapping and assaulting her for over a week.

Quote:An abducted child chewed her way out of restraints and escaped a mobile home where she was being stored with the lifeless bodies of her mother and brother.

According to authorities in Alabama, a man named José Paulino Pascual-Reyes, 37, held a 12-year-old girl captive for a week in a mobile home while she was restrained next to the decomposing, dismembered bodies of her brother and mother. Pascual-Reyes is reportedly the live-in boyfriend of the child’s mother, CBS News reports.

“They were boyfriend and girlfriend,” said Tallapoosa County Sheriff Jimmy Abbett, CBS News reports. “They were actually living there all together.”

Pascual-Reyes took the girl captive on July 24, and while being held hostage, the girl began gnawing at the restraints that had her tied down to a bed. Eventually, she was able to break free, and a passerby found her as she was walking down a country road. The girl then detailed the entire ordeal and provided police with information that led to Pascual-Reyes’ arrest.

At the time, Pascual-Reyes was working at a construction site about 20 miles away from the mobile home. While holding the girl hostage, Pascual-Reyes also reportedly assaulted her and force-fed her alcohol. CBS News reports Pascual-Reyes was in the country after reentering the country after being deported. He’s been charged with kidnapping and several counts of capital murder.

this breaks my heart. terrible and disgusting. and all cause of bidens incompetant. biden should be in jail.

The construction company who hired him and enabled and incentivized his living here should be named and held accountable more than any politician.

This has gone on for decades.  Politicians cone and go, but we keep letting those who employ and enable illegals to skate by.

Biden doesn't make people hire and support illegals.  If you hire an illegal immigrant who commits a crime you should be charged as an accessory because if you didn't hire that person he wouldn't be here to offend.

Don't hire illegals regardless of who the president is.

RE: Oh the humanity.. - Belsnickel - 08-05-2022

So why is there an assumption that he reentered the country during Biden's term? Personally, I find it disgusting that people would use something like this to score cheap political points in this manner. Border security isn't something that has a 100% solution. People like this will find ways to get in no matter what; that is true under any administration. You have no idea when he came back into the country or what any of those circumstances are, yet you turn this story about a highly traumatic experience that this girl will have to deal with for her entire life into a political jab against a politician you don't like whose policies really wouldn't have affected this in any way.

**** off with your nonsense.

Nobody said a word about the man being deported or returning under the current Presidential term.  Fact is, Biden is the current POTUS, none of the past POTUS have the ability to do anything about the calamity on our Southern boarder, only Biden currently has that ability.

Biden owns this unprecedented border surge. Lock, stock & barrel. Mayorkas should be fired.

Really?

If you weren't blaming Biden, then why bring him up? Why not just talk about border policies overall?

Again, **** off with your nonsense.

How? Is he exerting mind control over the border crossers? Can he magically make more money appear to fund border enforcement? Newsflash, that's a Congressional thing and border enforcement has been underfunded for decades.

Regardless of how they get in, cases like this show Americans employing them, entering into relationships with them. Etc.   It's like once they get in here we absolve ourselves of blame for sustaining and encouraging them because some politician shouldn't have them them in.

RE: Oh the humanity.. - masonbengals fan - 08-05-2022

If what we are witnessing on a daily basis doesn't demonstrate who's responsible for the unprecedented surge going on, there's really nothing I could post that would convince you otherwise.

Yes trying to pretend the current administration doesn't have anything to do with the flood of illegals coming in now is one of the bigger spins I've ever seen someone try to do.

You're right, the situation at the border could not be at all the result of decades of poor policy decisions across our branches and parties. This also does not in any way exculpate the idea of trying to use the trauma of a young girl to score cheap political points.

You want to talk about border policies? Let's do it in a way that isn't connected to this horrible situation. This is worse, IMO, than using the tragedy of a school/mass shooting to push for gun control in the immediate aftermath. Just make sure to bring specific policy decisions by Biden into the thread that point to him being the reason for the surge.

Overturning the "Remain in Mexico" was a great start towards this. Now they are in and can run.
Combine this with Immigration backlog numbers setting new record highs almost every single day.. well that's alot of Asylum refugees running around in the US that will pretty much be here for a while. and typically, the only ones that show are families.

But hey, Biden is getting a wall done and getting high praise for it... after spending years hearing how ineffective a wall is.... Bang Head

The court allowed Biden to overturn that policy in July, this spike in border patrol contacts has been going on since well before that; in fact, this recent spike started in 2020. So that isn't a cause at all. Also, the backlog is a result of a lack of resources, which is the fault of Congress.

RE: Oh the humanity.. - BigPapaKain - 08-06-2022

Well maybe if Bannon or whichever grifter it was the stole money from the American people who donated to the 22 miles of "wall" that got built, this piece of shit wouldn't have gotten in.

I mean, I doubt it because I have a solid grasp of reality and how easy it is to get over a wall - especially when you're motivated - but that kind of thinking doesn't generate clicks.

You word that as "the court allowed Biden", when in fact it should be worded that Biden worked to overturn a policy that was in fact helping the strain on our system, knowing full well what the consequences would be. And if they were too naïve to not know the consequences, they have had 2 years to figure it out. And still no real efforts to ease the situation other than putting a giggling idiot on the case & criticizing the overwhelmed officers charged with handling the situation.

Should have been worded that once in power the Dems clearly made an already overloaded/bad situation worse intentionally & now almost 2 years into it they continue to intentionally overload the system.

Anyone care to explain to us why they would intentionally do that ?

The "Court allowed" wouldn't have happened if Biden didn't attempt to overturn it in the first place.

Now the main problem is Unaccompanied Minors, We have nothing really in place to prevent that, like we do with Single Males 18+ trying to come over. So many are trying to exploit that loop hole now.

So, what I am seeing is that there is no real retort to my response that this spike was happening before the end of MPP. Thanks.
