Bengals least valuable team - pally - 08-22-2022

Forbes released their estimated valuations of each team in the NFL. Even coming off a Super Bowl appearance, the Bengals are ranked 32 with an estimated value of $3 billion. A lot of money for sure but nowhere near the Cowboys' value of $8 billion.

Last year on the same list the Bengals were 31st with a value of $2.275. This year their value rose to $3.4 billion and 29th on the list (probably on the weight of their new stadium deal and newfound popularity)

That's it..I'm going to get a part time job at some fast food place to buy the team as an investment.. I'm naming the stadium as Grandpahol Paul Brown (paycor) stadium..  You can thank me when the paperwork is completed.

I had the same question. The article is behind a paywall so I couldn't read the article to resolve the seeming inconsistency in what is being claimed (ranked 32nd now, last year ranked 31st, this year rose to rank of 29th).

They're 32nd on the list for this year, the team actually jumped in value by 32%. Every team rose by at least 15% by just existing actually.

Obviously the big factors for the Bengals placing are the stadium(less luxury suites, lack of revenue generating spaces outside the building owned by the team) and lower sponsorship money given the market size. Buffalo's value doubled in 2022, mainly due to the new stadium agreement, and that only put them at 29th(3.4b) 30th is Arizona(3.27b) and Detroit is 31st(3.05b)
