I didn’t know this until my sister-in-law just told the story, but her dad played for Marshall when they had that plane crash that killed the entire team and the only reason he wasn’t on the plane was because freshmen didn’t travel with the team………
I don’t know how I hadn’t heard that story until now, but that’s CRAZY!
