Guy is useful as hell. Quicker than he looks and has a nice set of hands.

He’s definitely better than Mike Thomas.

Yup

I like him. Ther has to be a reason he is not out there more. The guy just catches the ball and can take a hit. Howe is great during preseason. I feel the Patriots will snatch him up like they do with all the players we keep on the bench.

great play to stay in bounds and gain an extra 10+ yards. HUGE play and awareness

RE: Should Trenton Irwin Stick? - Rubekahn29 - 11-20-2022

I think they need to let Thomas go. He has no chemistry with Burrow and when the ball goes his way nothing good ever happens. It needs to be Chase, Higgins, Boyd, Taylor and Irwin.

Absolutely imo

He is better than Thomas.

RE: Should Trenton Irwin Stick? - The D.O.Z. - 11-20-2022

Absolutely. He’s delivered when called upon. Mike Thomas? Not so much.

Agree plus Burrow seems to have confidence in him

Yeah, that was slick.

I like the move the coaching staff made to get Taylor and Irwin involved while Chase is out.I think they both should still be involved in the Offense when Chase returns.

RE: Should Trenton Irwin Stick? - SouthernFan - 11-20-2022

Yes, but he needs to break his bad habit of running backwards after the catch trying to make the defender miss. Just turn it up field!

RE: Should Trenton Irwin Stick? - Tony - 11-20-2022

He won't cuz they love Thomas on special teams...

RE: Should Trenton Irwin Stick? - J24 - 11-20-2022

Yes!

You're probably right, but not sure ST coverage has been all that great to begin with to keep anybody active over Irwin.

As a 6th WR? Yes.

RE: Should Trenton Irwin Stick? - schroomytunes - 11-20-2022

Yes absolutely gives us more on offense than Mike Thomas!!

The fact that Thomas has been on the team for the entire year is a black eye on Taylor and no one can convince me otherwise. He provides literally nothing and has done nothing his entire career. The only reason he's had a job for the last 3 years is ZT.

RE: Should Trenton Irwin Stick? - GodFather - 11-21-2022

How can ya not love Irwin, he worked hard non stop just to get the opportunity. Love watching a player see success with all his hard work as an underdog.
