To me it's just modern polytheism. Like the Old Greek accused their Gods for unsuccessful harvests.

When it all boils down the picture becomes clear.
You are a tiny little animal riding around on the surface of a planet that is rotating and orbiting another celestial body that is a giant ball of explosion which is one of infinite in the vast depths of the universe.
Only way I can know any of that is because of my kind of animal cooperating with each other.
