DJ Reader-Reds first pitch - pally - 04-13-2023

Former pitcher for the Clemson University baseball team, DJ Reader, will throw out the first pitch at the Tampa-Reds game next Monday

Wow I would not charge the mound even if that guy threw 4 straight right past my head.
Just say “thank you sir” and run to first base!

Kind of doubt too many major leaguers would be exactly standing in line to charge the mound with DJ standing out there.. Most would probably say, "Thanks for almost hitting me in the head four times in a row.."

I think he's good as gone after the upcoming season if they plan on extending Logan Wilson and keeping the three amigos together.

DJ Reader has a really good arm! That ball had some heat on it!

Agreed.  DJ was probably the most impactful single FA signing the Bengals made in this most recent overhaul.  I would love to see him stay in Cincinnati.
