NY Post calls out Biden lies in CNN interview - Luvnit2 - 05-10-2024 Many liberals say Trump can't be trusted and a liar. Yet, Biden lies every time he speaks. His biggest whopper lately was saying inflation was 9% when he took office, yet it was 1.4%. A huge difference and spike in inflation started by Bidenomics. The 1.4% was the highest inflation rate for Trump's 4 years, while Biden's inflation got much worse before it got even close to the Trump 1.4%. Biden said on the interview people have money and should not complain. He and his policies are a joke. His problem is he can't lie his way out of voter's financial misery under his leadership and policies. CNN and others cut away from Trump comments using he is lying as the excuse. Yet, they cover Biden in full. In the end, maybe is good for us all, 15 lies in 17 minutes may be a record for a sitting POTUS. https://www.foxnews.com/media/ny-post-editorial-board-scolds-biden-telling-lie-minute-during-fantasyland-cnn-interview NY Post editorial board scolds Biden for telling ‘a lie a minute’ during ‘fantasyland’ CNN interview ‘In a brief 17 minutes, Biden told 15 lies,’ editorial board claims President Biden told a staggering number of whoppers when he spoke to CNN’s Erin Burnett this week, the New York Post wrote in a savage editorial this week. The Post’s editorial board accused Biden of telling a "lie a minute" in an editorial featuring an image of the president morphing into Pinocchio. The White House has come under pressure from news outlets, specifically The New York Times, for a lack of sit-down interviews with journalists willing to ask tough questions. "Wednesday’s chat with CNN’s Erin Burnett shows why. In a brief 17 minutes, Biden told 15 lies — nearly a lie a minute," the editorial board wrote. "From whoppers about the economy to prevarications on Israel, Biden spun a fantasyland of a presidency that voters know is false." CNN Biden interview President Biden told a "lie a minute" when he spoke to CNN’s Erin Burnett this week, according to the editorial board of the New York Post. (Screenshot/CNN) The Post then listed the 15 alleged lies, starting with Biden’s claim that he created over 15 million jobs as president. "Biden’s favorite falsehood, told over and over and over again no matter how many fact-checks call him out," the editorial board wrote. "He took office at the tail end of a pandemic that blew a hole in the economy, when lockdown policies wholeheartedly endorsed by Democrats took people out of the office and onto COVID stimulus checks," it continued. "He ‘created’ nothing — after the introduction of the vaccine, people returned to the workforce. If anything, Biden’s policies slowed the recovery — it took until July 2022 for the US economy to regain all the jobs lost due to the pandemic." The Post’s editorial board accused Biden of lying about former President Trump losing more jobs than he created, which it called a "corollary lie." Trump didn’t ‘lose’ jobs; he was president during a global pandemic. And liberals were thrilled to put people on government checks and shut down the world during COVID. They cannot argue that the job market would have been any different in 2020 under a Democrat," the editorial board wrote. Next up was Biden’s claim that Trump would make Medicare more expensive. As the Post pointed out, the presumptive GOP nominee has actually said the opposite. The Post also accused Biden of lying about the federal tax rate for billionaires, the economy, polling data, "corporate greed" impacting costs, how much money Americans have to spend, taxes, and even Israel. But the "lie of the night" was when the president claimed inflation was 9% when he took office, according to the Post. "Biden continues to pretend that the US was in terrible shape when he took office, when it was already on the rebound — thanks to Trump’s Warp Speed project that vaccinated people quickly against COVID. Inflation was a measly 1.4% in January 2021. Then Biden went on a first-year drunken-sailor spending spree, and inflation skyrocketed," the editorial board wrote. RE: NY Post calls out Biden ies in CNN interview - SunsetBengal - 05-10-2024 Those "15 Million" jobs, were mostly people returning to work post pandemic, and most jobs "added" are junk jobs, not ones that you can make an actual living on. RE: NY Post calls out Biden ies in CNN interview - pally - 05-10-2024 So the Rupert Murdoch newspaper is claiming that Biden's administration didn't create the jobs because Trump didn't lose them? that is among the most convoluted pieces of BS the MAGA world has come up with. There were ZERO guarantees that any job would return after the COVID losses. In fact, so many small businesses failed that a lot of those jobs didn't return. Many other businesses downsized or went to remote working so businesses dependent on those workers failed as well. "Junk" jobs that people can't make a living at? Maybe that's because business owners exploit their workers and fail to pay a living wage. But the logic is funny. No jobs were created under Biden but even if they were they weren't real jobs. But hey, guess what... those are jobs that need to be done. Where would the economy be without those so-called "junk" jobs It is like Trump claiming the stock market is up only because he is ahead of the polls and saying the economy will crash if he isn't elected. Shall we remind him the stock market has gone upward throughout Biden's presidency and the economy didn't crash when Trump lost in 2020? RE: NY Post calls out Biden ies in CNN interview - Goalpost - 05-10-2024 I would say Pfizer created more job growth than Biden. The 1st vaccine shot occurred Dec 2020. Biden was sworn in Jan 2021. The return to jobs and normalcy occurred because of the vaccine. Looking back..here are the industries that were significantly affected by the virus. https://www.aarp.org/work/job-search/job-losses-during-covid/ RE: NY Post calls out Biden ies in CNN interview - masonbengals fan - 05-11-2024 15 lies in 17 minutes may have just put Trump in 2nd place when it comes to lying. Looking like CNN may just have to censor Biden too. I don't know, I remember one article that counted 30,573 falsehoods uttered publicly in his four years in office, or an average of about 21/day. So if, on average, he was telling more than one falsehood per waking hour, and not everything he said was made public like that, I am betting he had some more dense lying streaks than 15 in 17 minutes. RE: NY Post calls out Biden ies in CNN interview - masonbengals fan - 05-11-2024 It would be interesting to see the totals of both presidents as far as lies & distortions. It would be quite revealing. No way in today's world we could ever trust a news source for accurate info though. The Dow Jones Industrial Average has climbed 21.9% under Biden, whereas it grew 44.6% for Trump. The Nasdaq composite index is up 13.8% under Biden and was up 62% for Trump. https://www.axios.com/2024/01/01/biden-trump-stock-market-performance RE: NY Post calls out Biden ies in CNN interview - GMDino - 05-11-2024 (05-11-2024, 12:47 PM)Mike M (the other one) Wrote: Whaddafuqe? Pally has a point that you skipped though: Trump claims when the market goes up it is because of him...even when he's not in office. He also claimed there would a crash if Biden was elected...and there was not. She never said in what you quoted that it went up more under Biden. I'll add, as a side note, nothing goes up for ever. [Citation: Bernie Madoff] RE: NY Post calls out Biden ies in CNN interview - pally - 05-11-2024 those so-called lies are a rather loose interpretation of what a lie is. Let's just start by saying if over 10 million people suddenly became unemployed in the last 4 years regardless of the reason the NY Post would have been screaming about the Biden job losses And how about calling "you can't only love your country when you win" a lie when in fact it is an opinion and claiming him saying other world leaders are concerned about Democracy if he loses is a lie. How in the hell do they know? Based on interviews with many world leaders, they are concerned. they called saying Trump is calling for tariff increases a lie because Biden also has proposed more targetted tariff increases Warning Netanayhu about not repeating the US mistakes in Iraq and Afghanistan is called a lie because Biden voted for the Iraq invasion Seriously, the whole article is a stretch RE: NY Post calls out Biden ies in CNN interview - GMDino - 05-11-2024 I'm sure the Trump backers won't believe this...they don't think he lies at all and if he does HE is "just being a politician". Unless the need is for them to say he should be in office "because he isn't a politician." This was just first 100 days. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/interactive/2021/biden-fact-checker-100-days/ Quote:Fact Checker RE: NY Post calls out Biden ies in CNN interview - Luvnit2 - 05-11-2024 (05-10-2024, 07:06 PM)SunsetBengal Wrote: Those "15 Million" jobs, were mostly people returning to work post pandemic, and most jobs "added" are junk jobs, not ones that you can make an actual living on. Right now, it's trending up again and most likely because Trump is leading in the polls. Regardless of what either of you think, it does look forward. Many investors are already anticipating the SM to sky rocket if Trump wins. What Trump is saying is fairly true. But it won't be a bloodbath if Biden wins, it will just turtle along for another 4 years. Do you not pay attention to your investments? Trump is on social media, camera, and anything that is sent out to more than 2 people most of the day. Biden is in the public eye maybe an hour or two a week, yet flubs up a similar amount, if not more. It would be interesting to what their error, lie, silliness rates are per hour of media put out.
