We all know that Pittsburgh is a dirty team. They have been since the beginning and will continue to be dirty because Pittsburgh has a ton of fans. Since the Bengals are such a small market team, we fans of the Bengals will never see a fair game.

Suck it up and take it like a man Bengals fans. Settle for winning seasons from here on out and forget about winning a Super Bowl...it's never going to happen.

Regardless of what happened after, we would have won that game if we hadn't fumbled.

Yup, that's what it boils down to.  If Fumblerooski Hill holds onto the ball we win.  Did the refs suck.....yes.   Did the commentary suck......yes.  Did we have the game won regardless.......yes.   IMO Hill lost this game and that is who I blame for the loss.

True...kind of pokes a hole in all those conspiracies theories...

RE: Right On Cue - OrlandoBengal - 01-11-2016

Unfortunately there always seems to be a "we would have won if this or that had not happened", but this or that always does happen. If you're Hill you have to be holding the ball with both hands and stop fighting for the extra yards... the team is in field goal range, just go down with contact.

RE: Right On Cue - Nebuchadnezzar - 01-11-2016

Conspiracy Theories are fun though and I could come up with a huge one for this game.

RE: Right On Cue - reuben.ahmed - 01-11-2016

Conspiracy theories can exist if you stop to think, the refs can sway a game, but not necessarily decide it.

In my opinion on Saturday night, they decided it. Unfortunately, in professional sports with so much $$$$ on the line, it can't be ruled out. Money breeds corruption.

Small market teams like Baltimore, Indianapolis and Tampa Bay have won Super Bowls, so there's still hope.

The first two teams both have lots of fans.
