I just wanted to let everyone know that Jim Owczarski, the new Bengals beat writer with The Enquirer and Cincinnati.com, has joined us here at the Bengals Board. You can follow his posts as jowczarski here on our board.

He works for the Enquirer, not the Bengals, so that's likely a safe bet.

Was just going to write something similar.
Hobson works for the Bengals, he isn't a beat writer.
Hobson is paid to toe the company line.

Pretty sure Hobson has freedom to write pretty much whatever he wants. His writing reflects his own opinion of things. I've always thought he was pretty objective and balanced.
Of course, someone who is fair and objective is going to be considered biased by the fringe who hate anything the bengals and Mike Brown ever do.
