The 2016 Dreaded Mock - bfine32 - 02-16-2016

These were pretty much a tradition (for better or worse)  on the Mothership so I had to carry it over. Past drafts have brought such Bengals as Robert Sands, Will Clarke, and Vontaze Burfict. So here are one or 2 future Bengals:

RD 1- JAYLON SMITH/MLB (6’3” 235)

If it weren’t for an unfortunate knee injury we’d be talking possible top 10. Rey M. has one year left on his deal so we can allow Jaylon’s knee to heal and his dreads to grow.

RD 2- WILL FULLER/WR (6’0” 172)
[Image: ct-football-notre-dame-will-fuller-jaylo...t-20151211]

Yes, we go back to back Golden Domers. Fuller has the tools and skillset to take the top off an opponent’s D. Besides a vertical threat the only thing missing from our WR corp is a tight set of dreads.

RD 3- SEBASTIAN TRETOLA/OG (6’4” 317)
[Image: Sebastian-Tretola-vid-image-10.6.15.jpg]

Looking up and down the Oline I see 2 weaknesses: Center and lack of dreads. This monster addresses the dread deficient and allows Zeitler to move inside and address the Center issue. We like versatile Olinemen, well this guy can play QB

RD 4- CRE’VON LEBLANC/CB (5’9” 194)
[Image: UPWEB_Media-Day-2015_-Mohammed-F-Emran-9532.jpg]

The one place where dreads are not in short supply on the team is at CB. Pacman, Dre, and Shaw all rock the flow.  But there’s a chance Pacman walks and we can replace him with this clone complete with the dreads.

RD 5- MATT JUDON/EDGE (6’3 250)

Small time dreads are a direct reflection of the program Matt played at, but he absolutely dominated at that level. We play him sparring as a rush specialist giving his game and dreads time to grow.

RD 6- VINCENT VALENTINE/NT (6’3” 320)
[Image: awb_2014_04_12_NebraskaSpringGame_1150-1050x700.jpg]

Valentine is more than a space eater in the middle; he can penetrate. Only 10 tackles all year due to injury but 4 happened behind the LOS and he had 3 sacks. Valentine upgrades Sim’s Dreads and Peko’s game.

RD 7- NICK KELLY/C (6’1” 297)

Nick will spend a year or 2 on the PS. There is talk that he has unusually long arms, there is also talk that they are short. Two things we know for sure are this guy is as tough as they come and his dreads are on point.

I look forward to this mock every year. Hilarious
And honestly not a bad draft. Smith and Fuller are two picks I would definitely be on board with.

Love Judon and Valentine.   Watched some of Judon's highlights.  I know it's at a lower level, but the guy is a stud.  You may have to go earlier than 5 to get him.  And I would.

Valentine would stop the run cold.

Man when is style gonna make this draft obsolete? Dreads...your time has come and stinkily stayed past your welcome. Please take your place at the hair retirement home next to high top fades, bowl cuts, and the mullet.

Also, Fellas you should be easily identified from far as a dude if you're gonna wear braids. Note to DreK

Any white dude dreads?

Or is that the Dreadful Draft?

Every year I do these I find a player I've never heard much from that impresses me. This year it is Vincent Valentine. He should have stayed in his Senior year and improved his status, as he was limited this year.

For his career at Nebraska he only had 76 tackles but 14.5 came behind the LOS including 7 sacks. Numbers like these made me a Geno fan coming out of UGA.

Valentine is 6'3" 320 pounds, very strong, comes from a big-time program, can move well, and is not a project. I would have no problem with spending a 4th Rd on him.

Pretty damn good Draft actually, would love to get Jaylon and Fuller with the first 2 picks.

Pitty the folk that have dreads...

I couldn't nor would i, but eh, some good players have dem and God bless'em.

I like the fourth round selection.  I mean, I like the stinky on the right shoulder of your fourth round selection.
