He's definitely got balls for casting any blame about the holocaust about. Not only was the Catholic church's official doctrine that the Jews killed Jesus and had therefore committed deicide but they literally sat on their hands and did nothing about the "final solution" as it happened and continued to support the Nazi regime.
I will give this pope some credit though, he's a smart PR guy, he realizes the old fashioned way the church was conducting itself would lead to their eventual extinction. Deep down I don't think he's any better than any other charlatan that has held that corrupt office.
